Player Reviews Posted 01-03-07 Submitted by Grant grthompson123@hotmail.com Disc Weights: 170-175 Review: I'm relatively new to disc golf with a long catch-disc background. I got the three Aerobie sharpshooter discs about four months after starting to play disc golf, because I liked the aerobie ring and the squidgee catch disc. These are a different animal. The squared-off leading edge gets beat up almost as fast as Innova DX plastic, but abrasion resistance is a bit better. The sharpish edges are a distraction to me when I grip. The flight plate is very thick. The flight path, with a flat, clean release, starts out very flat and straight but seems to lose speed quickly, and when it does, it drops abruptly off to the left. This disc is consistently shorter than any of my other drivers (xpress, TL, valkyrie, talon, EXP1)by 20 feet or more. The copper color does not stand out in fallen leaves. It does float, though. I no longer carry these in my bag, and only bring them out for occasional practice. Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
