Player Reviews Posted 08-13-07 Submitted by Donkeypuncher Dirtysanchez97@hotmail.com Location: Dallas, Tx Level: Amateur Avg Drive: 350 Disc Weights: 180g Review: I have both a D-line and S-line plastic MD1 and this is my review. The MD1 is very straight, with a slight fade at the end. The D-line lifts up more when it glides, and is a little bit slower that the S and has less skip. The S-line will hold an anhyzer line better, and gets more distance when thrown hard. This is not a long range midrange disc, it is a short to mid midrange disc. Anything inside of 230' and this disc is money, further than that I would recommend a wasp or roc. This disc also masks a lot of off axis torque, becuase although it will hold the angle you put on it it doesn't glide past that line. This is a great disc for straight shots, and the S-line is good for lower ceiling shots. This disc combined with a roc or wasp would be an awesome combo, and should cover every shot you need. Discmania is soon to be known as Innova Europe. Discmania curently has three types of plastic: D-line (Dx), S-line (Star) and SG-line (The same Plastic used to make the new Star Skeeter). The MD1 is very simler to a Shark. It have a mild fade to the left (RHBH) with good glide. The S-line plastic is not 100% the same as the Innova Star, but it is close. It is probebly is more durable than Star with the same grip. Submit Your Review Back to Main Page |
