2013 memorial

i'm thinking of flying out for the memorial in az this year. i heard there is a holiday inn close to foutain hills but a room there is $149 per night. are there any other options or is camping available nearby?
what would willie do?

Great camping all over the region, just a short drive up 87. I used to go out there all the time.
