If throwing with less power is an issue maybe a River and a Flow would help with their lower power requirement than other discs in their category. But you need to find the good ones and i think you have better chances with Opto than GL.

that's basically why I'm throwing OLFs and TDs for distance, and I'm avoiding wide rim low power discs. Consistency has to be the key in my game now. I am changing from depending on 400-425' drives with destroyers to 350-375' drives with the OLFs. Not sure there is much of a difference in power requirement in the OLF and River, but I'd think the OLF is more versatile (the main reason why I chose it over the River and PD)

OLF needs more power for the same D as some Flows. River is more like a slower fairway driver that grew wings and paraglides while flapping the wings. Meaning it ain't gonna come down any time soon just like Fuse. The difference between the TD and the River and Flow is fairly small. It's somewhere in between those if you pick the proper ones. Flippy GL Flows need very little power and flip easily. Straight Optos are surprisingly beefy and straight while long. Opto Flows that are straight are great for consistency and good for control. Even though the fade is lesser than with OLFs it glides so well that if you give it a little hyzer you're set because that achieves the same thing than the harder fade of the OLF.

I think this comment answers a lot as to why I went with the OLF and TD as my distance compliments

Going to give the eagle-x another try, as it may do just what I want and close the distance gap between cyclones and OLFs.

hurt my back at the end of last November. throwing hard for distance (425-450' on distance lines) was the chronic cause of the injury.

I didn't take the Rush out, I lost my only one had an eagle-L in my box so I'm just going to try it out for a bit. I can always replace the Rush if I feel the need to.

A very nice golfer returned my lost S-Rush to me yesterday during the winter bash Which is awesome because I really needed it on a few holes, the EL isn't beat in enough to turnover consistently yet. The rest of the bag feels pretty natural to me since it's almost all molds I have spent a lot of time with in the past - even though it's been a couple of years. Now to focus on the mental aspect of the game and get ready for the B-Tier in town next week.

Sooooooooo....the banshee is fantastic for me - when there isn't a lot of strong wind. Apparently I still have enough power to turn them from a hyzer into a stiff (15-20mph) headwind. Back to Predators, and the big bag! Trying out a couple of discs.
