Jerbob's bored bag post

Postby Jerbob » Wed Feb 16, 2011 8:56 pm

Long time lurker, sometimes trader and poster. On the DL till April with an achilles rupture.

175 S Wizard- stable, off the tee
175 SS Wizard- straight, wind putter
!73 SSS Wizard- hazardous hillside putts, flops down
175 SS Warlock- main putter
175 SS Warlock- turnover
171 SS Warlock- long runs

180 champ roc- overstable
177 kc pro- finish left
175 dx rancho- straight
177 dx ontario- hyzer flip, finish right

172 star eagle- sacrificial for home course water holes
172 10x Kc pro eagle- main fairway
174 dx eagle-x- beat, hyzerflip, turnover, roller
174 12x star firebird- wind, gotta get left
172 12x star firebird- worn, thumber,

171 P-Freak- beat, turnover
172 S-PD worn straight little fade
173 S-PD- newish, wind, hyzer
172 Pro destroyer- worn, downwind, anhyzer
172 Star destroyer- worn, main distance, little turn
172 Star destroyer- sacrificial for water holes
173 Star destroyer- super domey wind fighter, skips, short skippy forehand

I played this all last year. Number of discs varies course to course. Water, hilly, etc.
Sometimes I miss esp comets for annys, slow turn, woody courses. The ontario almost pulls off the same shots. Thinking about trying out the preds in place of the firebirds.
Throw putters 280-300
Rocs- 300-320
Eagles- low lines and up to about 350-360
PD's- under 400
Destroyers- over 400, consistantly 420ish, longest throw on soccer field, wind behind, 4 leaf clover in back pocket, 475 on an distance anhyzer
rating 964
Cheers!

ESP comets back in and replacing the Ontario roc.
Why carry both a wizard and warlock when I like driving the wizard and the bead doesn't bother me.
Throwing in some magics for putting and flippy turnover anny approach shots and drives.
Home course has two straightway 500 ft shots, so I'm thinking I should work on a roller.
Been trying it with a beat p-pd, but maybe with the worn in s-pd freak stamp?
Should I add another mold just for roller or can one of mine work?

Ten minutes away, so I guess I should probably call it home. Plus, those stupid ponds haven't given up a favorite wizard and SEX yet.

Mid-range muddling. I can never decide what to carry for a turnover mid-range. Ontario roc, Comet, and Fuse's are all in my possession of late. Of course, my new somewhat reliable forehand has made some shot turn overs unnecessary. Decisions...decisions...

75 S Wizard- stable, off the tee
175 SS Wizard- approach
175 S Magic
174 S Magic
173 SS Magic- turns

180 champ roc- overstable
177 Proto Roc3- fade
177 11x kc pro- straight little fade
175 dx rancho- beat, turns, finish sort of right

172 10x Kc pro eagle- got some turn
171 Star Eagle X- straight fade
172 11x KC Pro Ex- stable hyzer, wind fighter
174 12x star firebird- spikes, forehand
173 12x champ firebird- wind fighter, skippy, back and forehand

171 P-Freak- beat, turnover
172 S-PD worn straight little fade
173 S-PD- newish, wind, hyzer
172 Pro destroyer- worn, downwind, anhyzer
172 Star Destroyer worn, little turn
172 Star destroyer- straight, face, flips up a little in wind
173 Star destroyer- super domey wind fighter, skips, short skippy forehand
