In the spirit of mold minimalism I've been throwing fewer of the discs that I carry. Results:

Spd 172 mild dome new
Ppd 172 flat and beat. flips and light turnover shots that fade back
Sfd 175 mildly worn line shaping
177 gl river turnovers and flips
176 star Rancho roc overstable duties
176 kc pro roc flat worn in straight
176 star San Marino Hyzer flips easier than the other two rocs and carries.turnovers nicer
Vibram putters.176 vp 171 ridge 172 summit

Added a champ 175 fd and 170 cfr cpd for overstable duties. My 177 river seems to be more versatile than my fds. I just can't seem to get the fd to hyzerflip like I can the river

proposed throwing stock for spring 2013:
going all in with the wizard for a run. 5 SS wizards @ 175 and 5 s wizards at 170. as long as the ss ones come as tacky as the white one i have now, i'll be a happy camper.
176 medium V.P for more overstable putter duties
172 firm summit for understable until wizards beat in

lots of rocs:
180 KC Glow highest parting line of them all, second highest dome, most overstable, doesnt like to flip up and still hyzers out sub 300ftish
176 star rancho biggest dome, second highest PLH. does everything the kc glow does a little faster.
177 dx rancho lowest plh, less dome than the kc glow, waiting for this to season nicely
176 KC 12x flat as a pancake. same PLH as the 177 dx. two years worth of age on it. go to roc.
171 dx rancho poppy top from an early/mid 2012 run slighty seasoned. more touch shots and approaches
176 star san marino. because i can!
GL fuse of some sort to be purchased later.

169 GL river
177GL river
exact same dome, exact same plh. havent thrown the lighter enough to judge. but the 177 can take some heat and really fills all the understable duties past midrange distances and on lower lines. hoping the 169 breaks in to flippier.
175 C and S FD. the S has a years worth of age on it. the C is just a tad more HSS/LSS

172 P-PD Flat.worn in. going right/straight
171 S-PD going left/flex shots
170 cfr C-PD going left harder/wind
171 star firebird. Iowa gets windy.
170 *DS destroyer flat really overstable
find myself some nice pro destroyers and maybe a domey star. I've really been missing the Pro Destroyer i lost. of all the warp speeders i've tried its the most comfortable.
172 star Xcal. Did i mention it gets windy?

i think 2013 is gonna be a good year for my game. i feel like ive gotten a lot better since this time last year and i think i've figured out most of my timing. I just have to put it to work every shot and focus. primary goal: putting! obviously. doesn't meant i can't improve my distance though! i broke 350 this year and think 400 on command is an attainable goal for 2013. on a side note, i really need some good shoes! wore holes in my Sambas this year....

Traded a brand new star boss for a 168 echo star destroyer! Nice and domey.

I'm surprised you haven't put a PD2 in the bag to replace the Xcal. Great in C and S for stability purposes. Sounds like you might have a really nice overstable slot filled by that Destroyer. Maybe go with same mold but different stabilities?

Since I've posted that lineup its already changed! Lol I traded a star boss for an echo star destroyer in the 168 and poppy variety. This pretty much sealed in destroyers for me. Need to go browse the racks at our local overpriced sporting goods outlet for good pro destroyers.... the xcal is out the DD and wraiths are out the 177, 171, and sanny rocs are out and a 169 opto fuse is in. The firebird pretty much stays since its the Cpds big brother in stability and they share the same lower half. A somewhat seasoned star 169 valk is also in. We'll see how much it overlaps with my beat in Ppd. All that's left is a couple nice pro destroyers and a stack of wizards to purchase.

Indecision is the bane of my existence some days....

Putters:
x2 175 SS Wizard
176 medium V.P
172 firm summit

Mid:
180 KC Glow Roc
176 Star Rancho
176 KC 12x
169 Opto Fuse

Control:
169 and 177 GL River
175 C and S FD (thinking of dropping the FD's altogether. I always reach for my rivers first.)
172 P-PD beat (adding a new one soon)
171 S-PD
170 cfr C-PD
171 Star Firebird

Distance stuff:
170 Opto Flow
171 P-DD
175 S-DD
168 E* Destroyer/170 AJ Destroyer (whichever happens to be in there.....I still don't have the snap for these to be super long, but I gotta keep one in the bag ya know?)

The FD never entered my bag because of the River.
Flat shots need running on the center line of the tee and planting each step on the center line. Anhyzer needs running from rear right to front left with the plant step hitting the ground to the left of the line you're running on. Hyzer is the mirror of that.

Between rivers and pds my fds hardly ever get thrown. Maybe I'll force myself to learn them more intimately before I completely dismiss them, but the river just feels comfortable...

I am asking this out of ignorance - not making a statement: how do you choose between the two sets of drivers?

the rivers, beasts, and pd's are my go to drivers for pretty much anything. the distance stuff, at this point in my game, I'm basically using them as learning tools and for the few specific holes at the handful of courses around me. for example hole #8 at Big Creek here in Iowa I play as a 400+ anny line so i would break out my flows (or previously a beat in pro wraith) I'm giving the destroyers a run as well as the DD/Flow combo to see which i like better and to see if i can grow into the destroyers more throughout the year. If the GL flow beats into as flippy as a 168 pro wraith and the opto stays pretty straight then I feel like i will have a nice long term setup with only having to cycle p-DDs once in a great while.

so far the DD's handle headwind in the 10-15mph range quite well where a wraith doesnt which gave it an advantage. the S-DD is brand new, still has flashing, has a taller parting line than my pro by about a millimeter(flashing?) and has a smidge less dome. I imagine it flies like a slower pd2, pure hyzer disc and a wind beater. the P-DD is deflashed and has a season of occasional use on it. it will flip up from very minimal hyzer and cruise straight as an arrow 10 feet off the ground till it fades off around 325. i can perform the same shot with my P-PD but if there's any headwind past 5-10mph the PD will probably flip.

so yeah, mostly the distance stuff is for discing up during windy situations and experimentation. i don't have the power to get these discs out to their maximum potential yet, but i carry them to huck for fun. I should mention i'm packing all of this into an innova deluxe bag. i literally cannot fit another disc in it anywhere. I'm carrying the firebird in the mesh top flap pocket!

Yeah, I carry around 20 in my Deluxe. Love that bag. Only complaint, and it's minor-I wish it has a two putter type putter pocket.
