I can get several actually. The guy that has them is selling the D for $8 and X for $9 and has A LOT left.

Not sure if anyone else has gotten their hands on these, but I have a white Soft Challenger (174) that is all $$$. It's much firmer than the black one I have that is 171, and it's nice and overstable. So much cash.

Yes he is and he has tons of them left. I can get some for those that are interested, but it'll take me a little time to get them to you as he is a 2 hour and 40 minute drive away from me. He has ranges from 170 - 175 iirc. I'll send him a message and see what he has for weights, colors, and how many of each. It is a pretty sick stamp if you're into eagles fighting over a basket :P

Got two of those white ones myself. I always pick the stiffer ones since they rock. Just bought a nice stiff but rubbery baby blue one couple days ago. Still have my first putter which is a stiff, orange soft-x, 14 months old and taken some VERY heavy hits, and is still usable as a nice turnover driver and straight approach disc, just love it to bits.

Went to the throw shop this weekend and learned a few things about challengers. Also I picked up a few things in the short time I've been using these discs. I love the challenger now, my now fav putter. And I'm glad I could latch onto a putter like I can Rocs/Comets.

But I learned this. Discraft makes the grippy/chalky challengers and really stiff smooth ones. The stiff smooth ones they make are apparently for the purpose of replicating the Cam Todd Challenger. Not exact but after feeling a cam todd the regulars sure seem darn close. I was surprised that the ones I've found are stiffer than my KC Aviars. The Challengers I have are smooth but grippy. I am now very happy with this disc and my purchases so far.

the challenger is classified as overstable, and those still new to the game can turn the player off, also alot of people love the aviar, whether theyre discraft or not, and they wont change a putter that works, i personally love them, i have a D and a Cryztal Z challenger (amazing grip and durability but hard to find) and they both work wonders for me on approaches and short drives off the tee at my home course

I have one of the newer pro d's in black and it is indeed dat shit. It's fairly soft for pro d but it could just be the heat and the color. I can rip it around 320' straight on a hyzerflip. My other pro d Challengers do not fly as far, they drop like bricks around 280'. Oh and my other Challengers get big nicks and dings in the plastic from putting, the newer black one only has dings from trees that just seem to come out of nowhere.

I should note that I left it in the rear deck of my car to heat up in the sun at the beginning of my shift at work. After my shift was over I'd depress the flight plate evenly around the rim to give it that Yeti Aviar feeling. Doing this a few times seemed to give it more hang time for putts, but didn't effect the stability at all. It feels much better in the hand, IMHO.

Yeah challengers fly the best when the flightplate is sunken, in my experience at least. I've moved completely to X-Softs when driving, but the tacky/stiff feel gives great confidence when putting so I thought I'd expand my stock of em. Need more X-Softs too though, but those I'll rather hand-pick...

I liked the FLX for driving as well, but the glide on that one is so good that it's scary long at times.

I've had some serious over drives with my sunken Pro D Challenger too.

TO HELL WITH A WIZARD!!!!

man this was almost exactly 1 year ago. I now throw Wizards. I guess I'm eating my words on this. I did learn to hate the FLX & Soft X Challengers, especially the FLX. I did get a Pro-D Challenger and still love it. I just fell into the Wizard trap. I may go back. I hear it calling me. not a whole hell of a lot of difference between the Wizard and Challenger.

Well another year has gone by and I'm back to putting with the Challenger. I drive with an ION now. I also use a Zone for random things (mainly short FH).

I have dropped the Wizard for good I think. For me it isn't as useful as other discs. Even when a Wizard beats in it doesn't turn as much as I would like. I can get the ION to shape more lines. The Challenger is also more shapeable than the Wizard but it has less glide than the ION.

That's the combo I am using also. Ion for driving and d and soft x challengers for approaches and putts. Soft x plastic is pretty consistent and so is the flight.
