On 3-22-09, Dan Beato (masterbeato), Steve Eyberg, Joe Johnson and I met up to play a quick round at Lakewood Hills, in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Conditions were harsh with winds gusting up to 40 MPH. Enjoy!

Sweet! What the *()_(* were you guys throwing into those huge headwinds? Dan especially. I played in some wind like that this past weekend and I was getting turnover from a 175g star teerex - something I wouldn't even *dream* of throwing, let alone flipping. My 162g teebird that is normally nice and overstable for me... flipped. Was an interesting day for me.

this may sound odd for me to say but i got to say it......not enough dan in the video (specially since you said starring masterbeato).....i saw more of the skinny guy in the white shirt and the beefy guy with the beanie......but yeah good vid.....not enough dan though.....

I would agree with that - I missed a couple REALLY nice drives from Dan during the round. He tends to step up and throw pretty quickly, so it's not always easy to get his shots on tape.

I would agree with that - I missed a couple REALLY nice drives from Dan during the round. He tends to step up and throw pretty quickly, so it's not always easy to get his shots on tape.

Yeah it's nice when you know what shot you're gonna use with which disc and how to tilt and power the disc as you walk up to the tee. When you have the knowledge and confidence from prior success it won't take long to throw. Especially in casual rounds it may not be totally necessary to walk through the throw in slo mo before hand.

4:50. One of the most balanced/fluid motions I have ever seen. You seem to stay pretty straight up throwing uphill late turn anhyzer with a putter (bounce)(?) What's the distance on that hole?

I think Dan and Johnson were talking about Blue Ribbon Pines at that time... Have you played there yet? Hole #4 is a score killer!
