Discraft Challenger

Just out of curiousity why is there no challenger praise here, i don't use it either but it seems like more people would. Like 99% of discrafts pros say the challenger is their favorite putter ever, and yet every forum i go to i never see any challenger praise. I know we aren't pros (making a generaliztion, relax if you are) but it seems like if this putter is this "good" why don't more people use it?

Also i have yet to see someone on the one of the local courses using a challenger, it's always a wizard, aviar, or magnet

Its a great putter. I used it for a while. Can't go wrong with it.

I keep a Pro D Challenger in my bag always, one of my go to approach discs. I putt with a Soft Mag, but if I approach with my Challenger I finish the hole with it. Also, if the Mag just isn't working during a given round I'll switch to it. Great disc, found I really don't care for the other plastics, but it's got to be in the bag.

Wizard = 85%
Others = 15%

Its a nice disc but I prefer the Magnet personally.

I think there are a few of us here with Challengers in our bag. I have 3 D and 1 Cryztal Z in mine.

What putters get any other play? Every so often someone will mention a Aviar but other wise I think 85% wizard talk is pretty accurate.

challenger all day.. soft for putts, and pro D for the easy upshot

Challengers get a surprising amount of love here in SW VA.
I would have some Pro Ds in the bag if they made them in 150 class (hint hint).

If you're using wizards, I've got a new 158g M Wiz and a 9/10 120g F Glow Wiz for some of your neglected heavy comets

I don't neglect them; I lovingly polish them every night and tell them it won't be too much longer...

Great mold, just wish there was more grip And stiff flight plate in the plastics. Which seems to be a hint DC has picked up lately... It used to be disposable wimpy D plastic, mushy soft X, or slick Z. While Wizards found a way to come in stiff form with nice grip.
