Yeah it seems what you are looking for is hard to find. I am not sure this may interest you but I see BB aviars are being produced in champ plastic for the Asia Open. These are at CFR pricing, so that could add up if you need a bunch.

Nope, only last year's ace race ESP Foci are around.

Has anyone else noticed that pro-d challengers are more susceptible to rolling down even insignificant slopes compared to any other putter? Either I have the shittiest luck in the world, or they just like to roll more than other putters :P

Hey Challenger guys who carry both D and Soft's what do you use each type for? My buddy gave me a couple D's and I must say I'm liking them and was wondering what the Soft's brought to the table and while I'm asking what's the deal on Cryztals?

The older soft challengers had a "lighter" feel to them when compared to the newer ones in the same weight.....I know this sounds confusing, but the soft foci, challengers, etc seem to have a lot of weight around the edge that is very odd to me. I had a white softy from '08 that was one of the best discs I have ever had and it got wet and was never found....

When I still carried Softs, they were my driving/turnover putters. I've gone pro-d for driving, approaching and putting with the exception of having a FLX one for turnovers and longer anny shots.

I switch back and forth between my grippy Pro D (mostly for putting duties), and a nice softy (usually for driving, less rollaways, wet conditions, colder weather, putting when the other one isn't working quite right  ).

They both seem to be wearing in very predictably. I'd say I much prefer the release of the pro D for longer putts and jump putts, and much prefer the x soft for driving, in general. In the New England winter, I doubt I'll use the pro D much, if at all.

Cryztals don't even feel like the same disc to me, not a fan at all. They feel too deep, and are squirrelly as all get out.

Check this out! I recently found out (by accident) that I have a 170 Elite X Soft Challenger with a tourney stamp from 2009. This disc is blue in color in regular conditions, sort of pale blue, but the sonofabitch glows in the dark! Blew my mind. Didn't think they even made Softies in glow, but this one does, which is wicked. Anybody else heard of this?

My first putter, a soft pro D magnet was regular stamped and white, but was glow in the dark I didn't know for years until I traded it to a buddy and he told me it was glowing in the dark. ..

I use pro D's (back to challengers) for all my driving and approaching, a 100g for getting out of trouble, and a Cryztal for exclusive putting duty. I have grown to like the slickness of the plastic on my putter, less spin out spits, and less grip-locked putts.

Damn, I want that 100g for myself!
