Posted: 08-01-03 Submitted by Adam *Disclaimer*: This method involves heat which has the possibility of modifying the shape of your disc and making it illegal for PDGA tournament play if it is not performed carefully. This technique is a modification of the How To Dye A Disc article posted on this site. Addition 1: After you mix the dye but before you put any on your disc. Put your disc in the microwave upsidedown and fill it with water.. Nuke it for at least one minute.. Now you can put the dye on.. Addition 2: I Found after you let the dye sit for 20 minutes it sets it a bit better if you again put it in the microwave (this time right side up ) and you nuke it for a good 5-10 sec.. I haven't tried longer because it starts to hiss at about 8 sec. Back to the Main Page. |
